Pleasurenaut is run by one person. This policy says what is collected, why, and who else can see it. It describes what the site actually does; if that changes, this page changes with it.
What is collected
- Nothing, if you only read. Browsing the writing and the session pages requires no account and stores nothing about you beyond the server logs described below.
- Your email address, if you join a waitlist or create an account. For an account, an encrypted password is stored alongside it; the password itself is never visible to us.
- What you post: comments, likes and bookmarks, and which account made them.
- Your age confirmation, stored in your own browser only. It never reaches the server.
Analytics
Traffic is measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it sets nothing on your device, does not fingerprint you, and does not build a profile across sites. It reports aggregate counts: pages viewed, rough country, referring site. Nothing that identifies an individual. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tracker on this site.
Server logs
The hosting platform records each request with an IP address, timestamp, URL and browser user-agent, which is what makes it possible to keep the site up and see when it is being attacked. These are retained for a limited period by the host and are not used to build a profile of you.
Who processes your data
- Supabase: the database and authentication. Accounts, comments and waitlist entries live here.
- Google Cloud: hosting and audio file storage.
- Cloudflare: DNS and the cookieless analytics above.
Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers. There are no advertisers.
Adult content and discretion
This site publishes material about sex and intimacy. Nothing you do here is announced anywhere else, there is no social sharing that names you, and your email is never used to contact you about anything other than what you asked for.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and deletion means deletion rather than deactivation. If you are in the UK or EU, the GDPR gives you these rights explicitly; they are offered to everyone regardless of where you are. Write to hello@pleasurenaut.net and say what you want done.
Children
This site is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and no account should be created by anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, write to the address above and it will be removed.
